Stellify Summer Program Kickoff

Welcome to the kickoff of the Stellify Summer Program! Our first day was an exciting adventure at the California Science Center and the LA Memorial Coliseum. This summer, we’re shaking things up by exploring the vibrant city of Los Angeles, blending fun with essential skill-building. From independent living and job training to physical well-being and communication, our focus is on empowering participants while fostering a strong, supportive community.

We started off the day at the California Science Center, exploring all of the amazing exhibits. Our participants really enjoyed seeing the fighter jets in the entry-way, and going into the ecosystems exhibit to see all of the fish in the kelp forest.

After the California Science Center, we had lunch in the Exposition Park Rose Garden, then we made our way to the LA Memorial Coliseum, where we learned about the Coliseum’s history, and secrets to how to operate.

We had so much fun together today, and when we did our “Pits & Peaks” many of us did not have any Pits which was a great start to our Stellify Summer Program. We have lots of fun to look forward to this summer. To see what we are up to, please check out the summer schedule. If you would like to join all the fun, let us know, we would love to see you there.
